Description
Do you want to learn to stand up paddle board but this time making a day of it in the amazing Snowdonia national park? Then this lesson may be for you.
This is ideal for complete beginners to SUP as it starts with the “Introduction to SUP” lesson, which can be upgraded to also include the “SUP Skills” add-on. This extends the lesson from an initial two hours to an extended four hours on the water, with a one hour lunch in-between.
During the first half of the lesson You will learn the basics of SUP, enough to get you standing up and paddling independently within about 30 minutes. Then you will be eased in to your new mode of transport. Then we’ll stop for a short lunch break to recharge your batteries with a hearty plant based stew.
Then it’s back out to improve the skills you learned in your previous session so you start to feel more at home on a board. You will also be learning new skills which require you to be able to move around your board while maintaining balance.
We’ll go in to greater detail with paddle technique to enable you to get much more out of paddle boarding. All this will help improve your confidence on a board so you’ll be ready for your own adventures.
You will be getting wet too.
Photos will be taken throughout the lesson for you to share your new found SUP skills with friends and family.
